Soft-Filled Panel: The face is filled rather than pulled taut, so it gives when you lean back.
Curved Top Edge: The upper edge dips slightly at the centre and lifts toward the sides.
Tall Standing Height: One of the tallest in the range, enough to sit upright against without slipping.
Whole-Bed Storage: Lifting the platform opens the full area under the mattress in one move.
Locking Lift: The struts hold their position, so the platform will not drop while you reach in.
Metal Storage Frame: The structure carrying the platform is metal under the upholstery.
Finished Interior: Board lining covers the compartment surfaces rather than leaving frame exposed.

About Mercer Storage Bed with Naturel Base

Sitting up in bed against a hard headboard is a short-lived pleasure, and the filled face here is the answer to that, soft enough to lean on without a stack of pillows behind you. The base underneath is the taller solid version, which puts the mattress at a comfortable sitting height and keeps the storage compartment generous.

Styling Tip: Skip the stack of decorative cushions this headboard makes redundant, and use the saved depth for a wider throw folded across the foot.
