About Carta Dining Bench

The wood rail that wraps the seat is not straight, it dips in a slow curve along each long side before meeting the legs, which is the same line used on the table apron across from it. Because there is no back and no bar between the legs, the bench pushes right in under the table and gives the room its floor space back between meals. It suits a household where the number at the table changes, since a bench does not commit you to a fixed count the way chairs do.

Styling Tip: Run it along one long side of the Carta Dining Table and keep chairs opposite, so the bench reads as a deliberate choice rather than a shortage of chairs.
