Color designer: Note for Comfortable Environment
We would call color the basis of the interior. They can expand and narrow the space, change its geometry, lighting and atmosphere. Color is a very subjective component of the interior, but it also has a few rules that help create a comfortable and stylish interior.
– Of course you can. But first, a small lyrical digression is needed – you need to remember that everyone has their own concepts of coziness and comfortable space, this is very individual. And even more so when it comes to color!
This is due to the fact that different people perceive colors differently. Moreover, from the point of view of physiology, our eyes literally see color differently. And from the point of view of psychological perception, color can affect different people in different ways – despite the fact that each color has some common psychological characteristics. But, firstly, they are always dual (that is, both the positive influence of one color and the negative one), and secondly, each has its own history of interaction with different colors and some shades may be pleasant to us, and which ones -on the contrary. It is connected only with our personal associations, memories, etc. And if some specific shades of color are unpleasant for us, then nothing can be done about it, we simply do not use them. Therefore, there is nothing strange in the fact that someone will be comfortable in a room,
As for a cozy interior in dark colors, it is also important to understand that color is only one of several components of the interior! In space, it is also important for us to take into account ergonomics, the proportions of the space, how it performs its functions, what materials, textures and textures are used, ornaments, what kind of lighting, and so on.
No matter how pleasant we are, for example, dark blue in the bedroom, but if we can only walk between the bed and the wall by turning sideways, or if, for example, we simply have a very uncomfortable mattress on which we sleep poorly and toss and turn all night, then we can hardly call our interior cozy. And vice versa, no matter how comfortable our mattress and a large bedroom with beautiful and high-quality furniture are, if the dark blue color is unpleasant for us, the space will not be cozy and comfortable for us.
