We’re Open! Levida Home Furniture Brings Sustainable, Custom Design to Markham with a Grand Celebration
What an incredible day! On Saturday, August 16, 2025, we officially cut the ribbon and opened the doors to our brand-new Levida Home Furniture showroom in Markham, Ontario.
A Warm Welcome to the Markham Community
From the moment our first guests arrived, the showroom was filled with warmth and excitement. With soft music playing, champagne flowing, and a delicious food bar, the atmosphere was buzzing. It felt less like a store opening and more like a housewarming party with our closest friends. Seeing our community come together to celebrate with us was truly the highlight of the day.
Our Vision: Where Nature, Family, and Design Meet
The formal part of our celebration began with the premiere of our brand film, “The Guardian’s Calm: The Levida Story.” The film shared the visual journey of our brand, from our family’s heritage to the inspiration we find in nature.
Immediately following the film, our founder and CEO, Hossein Amiri, took the stage. He shared the personal story behind Levida—a story that starts with a five-generation family legacy in Canadian furniture craftsmanship and a simple, powerful inspiration: the Canadian deer.
“The Canadian deer is a symbol of calm, security, and gentle strength,” Hossein explained. “That is the feeling we want you to have in your home. That is the feeling we build into every single piece of modern furniture we create.”
Our design philosophy is a unique blend of chic European style, calm Scandinavian minimalism, and cozy American warmth. It’s a style built on listening to our customers and understanding their dreams.

As a special thank you to everyone who attended our grand opening, we gifted them a living piece of this promise. A tree was planted in the name of each guest, marking their place in the Levida family and our shared commitment to a greener future.

The Official Ribbon-Cutting and a Touch of Canadian Culture
The big moment came when Hossein Amiri, joined by our distinguished guests, cut the ribbon together, officially opening our doors to the public!
The celebration was made even more special with a live performance from talented musicians Danny Shorty and Jennifer Frohling, who traveled all the way from the Yukon! They filled our new space with beautiful acoustic songs from a local Canadian band, perfectly capturing our love for Canadian arts and culture.
